Love the church
you're in .....
If you don't have a church, or have not attended in a long time, come give God another look!
We are a group of Christians committed to God and committed to each other. We understand that in this world we all have problems, we all have heartaches, and we all have dreams. We believe that the Scriptures teach us not only how to live in God's grace and mercy but also how to share the grace and mercy we receive with others around us. Relationships are key. When our relationship with God is right our relationships with one another are good.
2021
Our new year came with new hopes. We started a new series on "Fellowship" and have enjoyed being together on this important topic. However, just like many of those New Year's resolutions, many of our hopes are being broken already. With the spread of COVID-19 in the area, we are once again under tight restrictions. This means:
Our Sunday worship service begins at 10.00 AM!
We meet in the brick hall up the back of our drive.
Come join us as we worship and learn of God together.
This has been a year when the unexpected has hit us at almost every turn. No matter how hard we have longed for “normal”, we just can’t find it! That has placed much of the world on edge. After being on edge for a while, discerning people begin to notice the reactions of others. Some reactions are good and many times they are not so helpful to anyone. Our reaction to the humble Saviour matters!
Find the Audio of the service on the Audio tab at the top or the Video on its tab above.
December is a great time of the year here in Corrimal. The sun is warm, the days are long, people are out and about more, and "get togethers" are happening everywhere. We hope you enjoy this Christmas season! In all the celebrations, give yourself a spiritual gift by coming and being blessed at one of our Worship Services.
Please note that we will have a Christmas Day service once again this year. More details to come!
While the whole world is still working through COVID-19, we want to asure you that we are worshipping together once again. Sure, our normal worship patterns are modified, but it is great to worship the Lord together. We hope you find your way to come and join us.
Please let us know if we can pray for you or serve you in any way.
The government has asked that churches not have gatherings due to COVID19. We ask you to stay at home and enjoy the Audio only or the new Video version of our service from the recording we posted on the Audio and Video tabs of this site. Sorry we can't be together!
Please let us know if we can pray for you or serve you in any way.
We are the church.
Church is not about the buildings. We love the convenience that our church buildings give us, but if they were suddenly destroyed the church would still exist. Church is a group of believers who come together with a united purpose to worship and make God known. So, in these days when the government says we can't break social distancing regulations, we ask that you continue to stay in contact. Continue to set time apart to focus your mind and heart in Worship of our God. We will seek to make all the links to help you in this on the Audio and Future Plans tabs (found at the top of each page) of this site.
We are seeking someone to help us worship.
In any church, worship is essential. Since we are a small church, we need people to consider joining us to help us with our music. We have a blended service, so we sing a mix of hymns and newer songs. If you would like to be considered for this opening, please contact the church.
A New Year With New Opportunities.
We all love Christmas. I hope you were able to keep Christ as centre, but even if you weren't, we now have a new start with the new year. 2020 - WOW! This year will see some changes ahead for our church. You too may be expecting changes in your life this year. We would be excited to have the opportunity to share what God is doing, and have you share where life is taking you. 2020 has also been declared the International Year of the Bible. We study a portion of it each week and would be very happy to assist you in reading it, or even listening to it, this year. Contact the church for more details.
Christmas Season is here!
Christmas is all about Christ. After all, it is His name that starts the word. A life with Christ is not always easy however. You can't think it was easy on Mary and Joseph. It probably was not easy on the innkeeper or Wisemen either. Join us this month as we look at how they handled the dilemmas they faced, and how what they faced can help us face life today.
We also invite you to our small intimate Christmas Day service at 10 AM!
So glad for spring!
If you missed us at Spring Into Corrimal, then you missed a real nice day. We had heaps of fun. We talked with so many people, and we were blessed with some good food once again. We had some American visitors who came and enjoyed talking with so many people who came by.
He have had such fun this winter!
I hope you were able to be a part of July's excitement. We have had a Friend Day, a Holiday Kids Club, and a wonderful Ladies Tea and Craft. All these events were very well attended and everyone had fun. You can still get in on the wonderful winter ministries.
Have you seen our Facebook site?
I reposted a couple of great blog posts to our Facebook site today. They are very good and more than worth the time to read. They are about church attendance, worship, spiritual body life, and so much more. Have a look, and enjoy the read! Our Facebook site
Enjoying ministry greater than us!
We have been privileged to be part of a couple events over the last few weeks that have had great impact. We were part of the prayer group for the Graham Tour and were able to pray with several who came forward to give their lives to Christ or rededicate their lives to Him. It was so inspiring to see hundreds respond to an invitation. See a recap of the two nights Franklin Graham was in Sydney Graham Tour
We also enjoyed a day with Ken Ham and Answers In Genesis. Ken skillfully gave us several lectures on many topics. The overall theme would have been something along the line of: "We are losing our impact on our culture and our children in direct proportion to our lack of recognizing the inherent authority of the Bible from the opening verses of Genesis to the closing verses of Revelation."
The Disruptive Teachings of Jesus
There is a lot of disruptive teaching going around these days. Really, disruptive teaching is nothing new. Jesus used disruptive teaching to help people give a deeper look at God. He sometimes went after the lawyers, and at other times he went after the common people. He even attacked the spiritual leaders of His day.
In our study of the Bible we are looking at the disruptive teachings of Jesus from the book of Luke. Chapters 11 and 12 have a lot to teach us about how we should view God. Come along and give God a deeper look with us!
The Lord's Prayer!
What can be learned from a prayer that Jesus taught about 2000 years ago?
These are just some of the questions people have about the Lord's Prayer. Bring your questions and we will open our Bibles together and seek answers. No question is to simple and no question is to hard for God. Lets find answers together.
Each Sunday morning we meet together to worship God in music, giving, fellowship, and yes in the way we study His word.

Our church was able to upgrade to solar energy. With installation do to be completed by the end of the month, we look forward to doing our part by being a producer of electricity during the week, while also saving money in the long run.
As a church we were recently involved in helping Samaritians Purse with their fire relief. We were able to supply the money for a number of "kits" to help people dig and sift through the ashes. What a great blessing to have the opportunity to be connected with this quality Non Profit!
Last year we were able to assist a refugee family who had to flee their country of birth because of death threats. Preaching the Bible was the only thing that got them in trouble. We are glad that God gave us the ability and desire to help this fine family.
We are so glad that God's Hope can so overflow our lives that we are able to help others! What will God do in and through us next?
Our series in Philippians looked at
Authentic Attitudes
for
Real Relationships.
God has blessed us with many studies in this very encouraging and challenging book of the Bible! You can find a recording of most of these on the Audio page of this website.
Please join us for a thought-provoking and life-changing time as we study the Bible together each Sunday morning at 10.00 AM.
Because we hold the Bible as the inspired, inerrant, and infallible Word of God, it is important to know not only what it says, but also what it means, how it relates to society today, and how I should live.
